Last June 23, 2022, Adrenaline Solutions co-founders, Coach Marc Dagenais and Coach Noli Ayo, joined the Sports Leadership and Coaches Education Training Workshop hosted by the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) in Davao City, Philippines. With the theme, “Thinking and Leading Beyond Sports”, the training workshop aimed to capacitate the coaches of the university in sports management, in the handling of their student-athletes, to revisit their commitment to the field of sports leadership, and finally, enhance their coaching and mentoring skills.
The event was organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) in partnership with Adrenaline Solutions. From the OSAS, Haidee Mae P. Quilario, an Alumna of the Mindanao Peace Games and Leigh Matthew Etienne Aseoche acted as hosts and Dr. Arlene De Vera, the Deputy Director of OSAS, gave a stirring opening to the event.
On Adrenaline Solutions’ side, Coach Noli facilitated the lively plenary talks on Coaching Knowledge and Competence while Coach Marc provided an inspirational message on leadership and coaching. The event was punctuated by a graceful performance from the USeP Dance Troupe. Finally, the sports director of the university, Jose Alther Rivera, presented a thoughtful closing for the participants.
The leadership and coaches education workshop is one of the destinations of Coach Marc’s trip around the world which began in Spokane, WA during the USCCE coaching summit. It is one of the goals of his year-long pursuit to meet and exchange knowledge and best practices from fellow coaches all around the world.
